Hello, my name is Melissa Place and I am the Owner of Mel's Cheesecakes and More, LLC.   I am so glad that you have come to find my website.  Let me just tell you a little bit about Mel.....

I have been creating custom order cheesecakes and cheesecake cupcakes for birthdays, weddings, baby showers and other special occasions for over ten years.  Before that.....

​

I attended college for Business Administration and worked in the Business World most of my career.  The thought of having my own bakery had been nothing more than a dream for the better part of a decade.

That dream became a reality in August of 2024, when I formed my LLC in Johnston County, North Carolina.  My husband and I purchased a concession trailer and  I found a regular place in Benson, North Carolina to set up.  501 S. Wall Street, Benson, has been "home" several days a week for my food trailer.  I can also be found in Four Oaks on occassion and at other Benson area events.​

 I look forward to expanding my business and plan on attending as many festivals as possible.  Please be on the lookout for me and my big yellow food trailer.
